LEGAL LIMITATIONS:

Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica (Corporacion Tachiztica HHH S.A.), its owners, associates, agents and employees are acting as a booking agent and shall assume no responsibility nor liability, for loss of life, nor for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity to person or property in connection with any service provided or resulting directly or indirectly from the following: weather and road conditions, breakdowns, strikes, war, riots, acts of God, detention annoyance, terrorism, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulations, delays and expenses arising from quarantine, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, and discrepancies or change in transit, car rentals, tours, or hotel services over which Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica (Corporacion Tachiztica HHH S.A.) has no control.

Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica (Corporacion Tachiztica HHH S.A.) is acting as a third party agent-all travel documents issued by Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica (Corporacion Tachiztica HHH S.A.) including all tickets, vouchers and coupons and all arrangements for transportation or conveyance or for hotel or lodging, car rental, touring or sightseeing services are subject to the terms and conditions of each supplier. Domestic airline tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable as per airline’s own rules.

Citizens of U.S.A, Canada, Mexico and most European countries don’t need a visa to travel to Costa RicaA valid passport is required to travel to Costa Rica and proof of onward travel (like a copy of your e-tickets) for all nationalities. Some nationalities must have a visa and a valid passport from 3 to 6 months after the completion of your trip, to travel to Costa Rica. It is the responsibility of all those traveling to obtain information and proper documentation. Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica (Corporacion Tachiztica HHH S.A.) and its agents accept no responsibility for changes in documentation requirements or for any departure or entry denials. Passengers denied boarding for lack of documentation will receive no refund. Full cancellation policies apply to cancellations due to incorrect documentation.  The 20% deposit is non/refundable. No additional refund will be given for cancellations, received in our info@tachiztravel.com email, 44 days or less prior to the originally agreed upon start date of your trip with Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica (Corporacion Tachiztica HHH S.A.). Some very special suppliers might request full prepayment at the time of booking and that prepayment is non-refundable any time at all, (if this were the case, we would let you know at the time, we confirm the reservations to you). 

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica strongly recommends that you purchase short-term traveler’s insurance covering baggage, accident/life and trip cancellation. In case of an emergency, we will honor each hotel, airlines and operator’s cancellation policies.

CONDUCT:

Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica rejects outright the ESCNNA (Sexual Commercial Exploitation of Infants and Adolescents) in Costa Rica and in the world, particularly in its form associated with travel and tourism, since it is an illicit conduct that harms the basic rights of underage people, which is in all ways against the intrinsic values of the Tourism Industry and Activity.

We will inform against and condemn whoever takes advantage of the tourism industry and its installations and services to promote, facilitate or tolerate the incidence of ESCNNA; and by virtue of the here stated Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica, and all of its personnel, commits to follow due procedures to protect underage people against the ESCNNA in travel and tourism.

Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica (Corporacion Tachiztica HHH S.A.) and its designated representatives reserve the right to disqualify any person as member of any trip or tour, should such person’s actions or general deportment impede the operation of the trip or the rights or welfare or enjoyment of other members of the trip. Refunds are usually not given under these circumstances. In such extraordinary instances when a refund is granted, it is agreed that a refund based on the actual cost of the unused land services is the limit of Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica (Corporacion Tachiztica HHH S.A.) responsibility.

PAYMENT POLICY:

Tachiz Travel Costa Rica (Corporacion Tachiztica HHH S.A.) requires a non-refundable 20% deposit to guarantee your reservations, upon acceptance of our proposal. The balance is due 45 days prior to the start date of your trip. Different payment terms might be applied by some suppliers, (if this is the case, we will let you know at the time, we confirm the reservations to you).

CANCELLATION POLICY AND REFUNDS:

The 20% deposit is non/refundable. No additional refund will be given for cancellations received in our info@tachiztravel.com email 44 days or less prior to the originally agreed upon start date of your trip with Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica (Corporacion Tachiztica HHH S.A.).  Some very special suppliers might request full prepayment at the time of booking and that prepayment is non-refundable any time at all,  If this were the case, we would let you know at the time we confirm the reservations to you.  Any refund given would be minus a 10% fee charged mostly by credit cards or banks.

LAST MINUTE CHANGE FEE: 

Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica (Corporacion Tachiztica HHH S.A.) will gladly help you with any last minute changes. Please note that any additional expenses resulting from the newly requested or cancelled services will be charged to you.

By tendering payment or advance deposit to Tachiz Travel™ Costa Rica (Corporacion Tachiztica HHH S.A.) for any and all services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions recited above.
